Pauline Odulinski


Pauline Odulinski

Role: Principal and Chief Executive

Background:
Pauline has worked in seven FE/HE Colleges in England and Scotland. She is currently a member of the Board at a number of organisations. These include:

  • Buckinghamshire New University
  • Buckinghamshire Connexions
  • Aylesbury Vale Strategic Partnership

Pauline is also a member of the Buckinghamshire County Council Children and Young People Trust and is the South East Region Representative for the Women's Leadership Network, as well as Chair of the Panel for the Quality South East validation for IIP (Investors in People) Accreditation.  This is accompanied by a number vocational qualifications including a Certificate in Education and an MBA.


Karen Mitchell

Karen Mitchell

Role: Vice Principal, Learning and Quality

Background:
After spending 17 years, both as a Nurse Practitioner and Manager, Karen has held a number of positions in the College including Head of Curriculum for Care, Pathways and Art and Design. Karen holds nursing qualifications, PGCE and MA in Leadership and Management in Further and Higher Education. Karen is a national leadership mentor/coach with LSIS High Quality Managers programme.

Jo Whistler

Jo Whistler

Role: Vice Principal Corporate Services

Background:

Jo has held a number of senior positions in a variety of organisations including education and the NHS. Prior to joining Aylesbury College, Jo was Head of Finance at Barnfield College in Luton. Jo is a Chartered Certified Accountant, holds a BSc in Accounting and Computing and is currently completing an MBA.


Tim Keighley

Tim Keighley

Role: Director of Business and Curriculum Development

Background:
Tim joins Aylesbury College from Wiltshire College and brings with him to the role a strong combination of senior business experience, teaching qualifications and Further Education experience.  As Director of Business and Curriculum Development Tim will be focussed on developing a curriculum that meets the further education agenda and the needs of local businesses, including bespoke training courses, legislative training, work placed learning including apprenticeships.

Chris Kemp

CHRIS KEMP

Role: Director of Business Engagement

Background:
Chris is a Pro Vice Chancellor at Buckinghamshire New University as well as being the Director of Business Engagement and Sales at Aylesbury College. Chris is known throughout the world for his work on the management of crowds and his ceaseless endeavor to make events safer. His articles are widely publicised in the major music magazines and national press in a range of countries and he is at the forefront of work in the development of a safer concert environment.

At Aylesbury Chris is responsible for supporting business engagement and looking at new ways to bring income into the College.

Annette Gimbert

ANNETTE GIMBERT

Role: Director of Human Resources

Background:
Annette's key responsibilities at the College include recruitment, reward and retention, performance management as well as equality and diversity. She is also the People Engagement Director for Bucks New University.

Previously, Annette held a number of HR Director level appointments in organisations including Tesco Stores Ltd, Dixons Stores Group, Axa UK and HSBC. Annette has an MSc in Organisation Development and Personal Development, BA Hons in Business Studies, and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management.
