Aylesbury College is hosting a MP’s Question Time on 5th February. Both David Lidington and John Bercow have agreed to take part in the event, with students taking part in the morning session, and a buffet lunch with local businesses in the afternoon. The College is inviting all local business leaders to attend the lunch (sponsored by Business Link) and informal Question Time from 12.30 in the College’s Hardings Restaurant.
Pauline Odulinski commented, “We are very pleased that both MPs can attend the event. It’s important that young people get the chance to see and hear from our elected politicians – I expect there will be some interesting and searching questions. I’m also grateful that we can host a lunch for the MPs to meet with local businesses and perhaps answer some more questions about the local and national economic prospects”.
Business leaders interested in attending the event should email business@aylesbury.ac.uk to book a place. There is a nominal fee of £10 per head to cover costs, and spaces are limited.
