Introduction
This bricklaying course is for you if you want to learn the basic skills required in this specialist trade to enable you to seek a job in the industry. At this level, you do not need experience, just enthusiasm and commitment to learn and undertake a range of small projects.
What Will I Learn
This course will help to develop the skills employers in industry are looking for such as technical and practical skills, problem solving, team working and communication.

How Will I Be Assessed?
Progress and achievement is recorded throughout the year via practical assessments, theory assessments, external tests and a practical synoptic assignment.
Entry Requirements
You must have a minimum of four GCSEs including English and Maths, and show a genuine interest in the Bricklaying industry. Entry is also subject to an interview, basic skills screening and an initial assessment.

You will also study a qualification in Personal and Social Development and a Functional Skill in either, Maths, English or I.T.. A course contribution fee of £50.00 will apply, this contributes towards an external trade-related trip, course textbook and
