I chose to study at Buckinghamshire College Group because of its good reputation, supportive learning environment, and the practical opportunities offered through their courses. The College provided modern facilities and experienced tutors who helped me develop both academically and personally.
- Why did you choose this course and what were your ambitions at the time?
I chose this course because I have always been interested in science and how it is applied in real-life industries. I wanted to gain practical laboratory and technical skills while building a strong foundation for my future career. At the time, my ambition was to work in a scientific and technical field where I could continue learning and develop professionally.
- What did you enjoy the most about your course and your time at the College?
What I enjoyed most was the practical side of the course, especially carrying out laboratory work and developing hands-on skills. I also enjoyed working with other students, learning from my tutors, and being part of a supportive environment that encouraged growth and confidence.
- What experiences and skills from your course have been most valuable in your journey so far?
The most valuable skills I gained were laboratory techniques, problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and time management. The course also helped me become more independent and confident in applying scientific knowledge in practical situations.

My time at the College helped me build confidence, independence, and practical skills that prepared me for the next stage of my career. The course gave me hands-on experience, improved my teamwork and communication skills, and helped me develop a professional mindset that will support me during my Degree Apprenticeship at Arla Foods.
