    Throughout the course, learners will gain practical experience and underpinning theory in key areas of plumbing. The qualification comprises 10 mandatory units which are assessed through practical and written knowledge-based assignments set by City & Guilds.

  • Additional Information

    Learners are required to come to every practical session with the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) and learning resources. This helps to ensure a safe and professional working environment in line with industry standards and health and safety requirements.

    • Site/work trousers
    • Yellow high-visibility vest

    Learners who do not bring the required PPE may not be permitted to take part in practical workshop activities. Maintaining a professional appearance, good attendance, and punctuality are important expectations throughout the course, helping students prepare for employment within the plumbing and construction industries.

  • How am I assessed?

    Assessment is carried out through a series of practical and theory-based assignments covering all mandatory units of the qualification. Learners must successfully complete an assignment for each unit, demonstrating both their practical skills and underpinning knowledge.

    There are no external examinations for this qualification; achievement is based on the successful completion of all required assignments and practical activities.
